Hi to everyone, it's my first time in this forum.
I'm writing because I'm DVD-RB Pro user and I'd like to use AutoQMatEnc.
Where can I get the latest build?  Huh
I'm looking for the AQE 0.34.0.2

I have installed AQE 0.34.1 and it does not work with AviSynth 2.57 so I read somewhere that I need to use the latest build but it's hard to find it.

Thanks a lot,
Stefano.

P.S.
Have I to unistall the previous one it possible to overwrite the existing .exe with the new one?

Hi Stefano,

have a look here:
http://www.vmesquita.com/forum//index.php/topic,7891.0.html

Unfortunately it looks like Sapstars Domain is gone:
http://www.autoqmatenc.com/

The above URL only shows only an advertisment and says
that the domain is for selling.

I´ll package the latest version of AQE I have and upload
it somewhere at megaupload.com or rapidshare.

To answer your question: For most of the beta versions
of AQE you only had to overwrite the exe file.

Best regards,
D$

P.S.: I´ll email you about the Qu2AQE problem this evening.

No problem !  Grin

You are welcome !
I think that I´ll make a new post with the download location and make it sticky.
I do not think that SAPSTAR has a problem with this. May be VM is willing to
host a copy of the package ?

Not shure but I think I still should have the latest version burried somewhere
in the dungeons of my multiple download locations.

Cheers,

All in all it´s a pitty that AQE is dependent on the AVISynth version. Cry

IIRC this is because SAPSTAR accesses AVISynth file directly without
using the AVIFile / VfW interface.

@SAPSTAR: If you are reading this I would be happy if you could
release another version of AQE being independent from AVISynth.

Even if I haven´t used AQE for some time (currently my mainencoder
is Mencoder with focus on portability of tools to linux) I find
it still a valuable encoder. Do you see any chances for this happening ?

TIA,
D$

Hi Darksoul71,
Could you make AQE working with DVD-Rebuilder Pro?
I'm having this problems too. Huh
That's why I was thinking there was something wrong in my AutoQMatEnc installation.

About your last question I don't know... I'm sorry

Bye,
Stefano.

Hi Stefano,

Quote
Could you make AQE working with DVD-Rebuilder Pro?
well, in the very first place DVD-RB Free was one of the primary
tools I had in mind when writing Qu2AQE. It solved a lot of issues
I had with another script of mine called QME.

So to answer your question:
If Qu2AQE works on your system you just need to point to the
Qu2AQE.exe instead of QuEnc.exe, set DVD-RB to QuEnc encoding
mode and you are set. From then on AQE is called by DVD-RB (Free/Pro)
via QuEnc interface. This works fine and provides much more options
to fine-tune AQE compared to the normal DVD-RB Pro interface.

Hm, sorry, I don´t get it. Which question are you referring to ?

just don't mind...it has been my silly mistake. Undecided

How can I get access to those options?
Have I "tune up" the .INI files inside Qu2AQE folder or something like that?

Bye,
Stefano.

P.S.
Is it that your latest version? AutoIt v3 Script : 3, 2, 4, 9

Hi Stefano,

with "tuning" I was refering to the AQE-specific values in the ECL file.

The pro-version of DVD-RB only allows the modification of one or two settings.

Have a look here for details:
http://www.vmesquita.com/forum//index.php/topic,4389.0.html

BTW:
Grab "my" AQE package here:
http://www.megaupload.com/de/?d=0UQZ5VJ2

and here:
http://rapidshare.com/files/162814342/AutoQMatEnc_v0.34.0.zip.html

In regard to the version you did only see the autoit version I used to
compile the script. I´ll mail you a modified version in the next hour.

Cheers,

Thanks a lot!  Smiley
I hope that with your help I'll be able to make it works on my system too.

Bye,
Stefano.

P.S.
to install your AQE version it's enough to copy its folder content inside the one I previously installed or should I have before to uninstall the one I have?

My suggestion:
Try the original version of Qu2AQE with the "full" package first.
If things then still do fail, then use the version I´ve sent you via e-mail.
