Just a thread for this Beta release...which is in fact just a quick fix to the function : All GOPs closed. That's rarely used that's why nobody noticed a pb with before.

Anyway, if you had any error with this version...this would be the thread for it! Smiley

Hi

Since I started using 0.34.0.1 or the official 0.33, I've started getting the following error message after encoding finishes:

AutoQMatEnc.exe - Application Error

"The instruction at "0x01b89578" referenced memory at "0x01bb3858". The memory could not be "read". Click on OK to terminate the program

When I hit OK, DIKO then continues to finish the remaining tasks.
Previously I was using 0.33.b03 which never gave this problem. Any ideas on what's wrong? (AQE is a great tool btw).

Here's my DIKO log and AQE avs log:

You should try this : http://www.vmesquita.com/forum/index.php?topic=3944.0

This error is quite [EDIT : TYPO] common [/EDIT] with many different programs (not only AQE)....it's definetely linked to something in the Windows installation...path?! DLL?! Registry?! Anyway, the tool made by Prodater will solve this issue.

Well I have a 0.34.0.2 release available...but to be frank I didn't have much time to work on AQE for a while, I'm so busy in the real life!
Anyhow, I may release a 0.34.0.2 this coming week..some small corrections. As no major bug was reported to me, I assume AQE is pretty stable now, isn't it?!

@SAPSTAR

Nice to hear you again, mate! Smiley For me AQE have been a excellent and reliable FREE MPEG2 for ages. All my dozen of projects were done using it as encoder. I'm migrating for Linux (Ubuntu GNU/Linux on my main machine) and I'll use it through wine for now. I think that you've done a invaluable work for video community, so you deserve 'take a breath'  my friend!  Cheesy

Take care,

I have to test in encoding 2.3 pass qmatop activated and the majority of the files encoder make peaks +9000kps (however the max bitrate is regulated has 8000kps) the measurement of the bitrate was to carry out by 2 times with bitrateview and that of dvdlab.

the size of the final files is good, their good reading on computer, but the excess of the bitrate returns the video illegible one on reader dvd of living room :/

Really....I'm surprised there I thought I had eliminated that pb, I must admit I didn't check the bitrate itself for quite a long time, but because every movie was playing flawlessly on all my DVD players, I assumed everything was fine. Could you give me an example of an ECL file?!
