Hi ricardo.santos
Sorry for the late reply, I've been on holiday with the family for a few days
.
As far a the virus warning goes, it's a false positive generated by the way
this
version of AutoQMatEnc GUI calls AQE, a batch file is created and executed (I'm running Kaspersky Internet Security 6.0 and it also gives me a warning
).
I've been able to reproduce your problem on my PC, there seems to be a problem when accessing some video files, and creating the scripts. AutoQMatEnc GUI calls AQE which exits suddenly and AutoQMatEnc GUI doesn't know about it (this was a bug I picked up when working on AutoQMatEnc GUI v0.2.0.5). I will try to fix this for the next release, for now you can use your own scripts as input files or use AutoQMatEnc GUI v0.2.0.5 (which uses v2.0 of the .NET Framework), personally I'd recommend using AutoQMatEnc GUI v0.2.0.5 as I spend more time developing that version due to it's popularity (more than 50 downloads compared to about 29 with this version).
Hope this helps, stay tuned for an update soon...
i´ve downloaded both versions and none works, tried converting from avs made by me, made with fit2cd or converting straight from avi and after i start the conversion a pop up window comes up saying"conversion done/finished after 5 seconds.
i uninstaled/reinstalled avisynth as Danpos suggested but i think i have to wait for the updates

@ ricardo.santos
1- Just as a test could you try disabling AVG and trying an encode?
2 - Before closing AutoQMatEnc GUI if you look in the install folder (default "C:\Program Files\AutoQMatEnc GUI") you should find a folder called "Batch List", could you post the contents of the ecl file for the file your having a problem with?
3 - When you open an avi file a temporary script is created called "~.avs", could you post the contents of this?
4 - Could you post the contents of your script, or the final one create by AutoQMatEnc GUI?
Basically I need a bit more information in order to help you out

Can you play your avisynth script without any error messages, 240 frames is normally how long an avisynth error message is

My advice would be not to set encode_first and encode_last or set then to the proper values...I dont know if it could be related...my 2 cents!

MPC can to play fine anything else and the same thing to have some corrupted frames which are brought up when using VFW tools (like
avisource()
call from avisynth). MPC uses DirectX (DirectShow). I did say that because of this happened with me whence I did a conversion using the AQE/AQE GUI combo: the process exited without any error when QMatOp reached about 88% and when I did play with using VirtualDub (which uses VFW for decoding anything) I could see that almost the end of footage, during a change of scene, a few frames got corrupted, and after that the video get back OK, but the audio turned on async with video. Playing this same file in MPC, these few frames which got corrupted using VD even didn't appear (being dropped by player I guess). This is weird but happens. Trying play with it in VD and see if some frames get corrupted or trying with another file ...
C ya!

@ ricardo.santos
I was able to reproduce your problem if the script saved by FitCD was named "MyMovie
.avi
.avs", I've fixed that problem... I've also added a pop-up window to show if the encoder has exited before it should. Try the new version and let me know how you get on - also could you post any problems with v0.2.0.6 in the v0.2.0.6 release thread please
Perhaps you could upload your clip somewhere for me to have a try/look at?

encode_last is left at zero for AutoQMatEnc to get the number of frames
, frame_last
should
be the total number of frames detected by AutoQMatEnc GUI
- basically I'm trying to leave the ecl file creation as close as possible to the original by CCE, perhaps all the irrelevant information should be left out all together, what do you think?
@ Danpos
Good advice, thanks mate. Apart from the "naming" bug I've found - I've never really had any problems opening and encoding a variety of files.
