Hi ricoman, do you have the Microsoft .NET famework 1.1 installed? This is required by AutoQMatEnc GUI 1.0.1.0 to run. You should see it in the list in Start->Settings->Control Panel->Add or Remove Porgams. If not, here is a link to the installation file -

Could you post a picture of the error you get?

I don't see it, I thought I read that it came with SP2. I'll try your link, Thanks.

Yep, that did the trick, GUI version up now. I had read that the .net file was installed with SP2, apparently not. Thanks.

Yeah, it's unfortunate it's not installed by default (not a critial update), but rather an opt in situation, even on windows update. I had a look at nine friends' laptops running SP2 and all of them had at least version 1.0 of the framework installed Embarrassed. Glad you got it sorted... Wink

ok. I´ve now realized theres 2 different Gui's, i tried AQE gui but that one didnt encode anything nothing happened when i pressed the encode button, all settings were right,

the other Gui i used AutoQMatenc Gui like i said before only worked once but the pic Quality was very good, normaly i use Quenc 0.70b but after watching the output i really wanted to give it another spin.

What is strange here is that those warnings never appeared on my first 2 tries.

i was almost sure the virus was a false positive but the other warning i really dont have a clue on what to do to stop it.

Hi ricardo.santos

Sorry for the late reply, I've been on holiday with the family for a few days Grin.

As far a the virus warning goes, it's a false positive generated by the way this version of AutoQMatEnc GUI calls AQE, a batch file is created and executed (I'm running Kaspersky Internet Security 6.0 and it also gives me a warning Embarrassed).

I've been able to reproduce your problem on my PC, there seems to be a problem when accessing some video files, and creating the scripts. AutoQMatEnc GUI calls AQE which exits suddenly and AutoQMatEnc GUI doesn't know about it (this was a bug I picked up when working on AutoQMatEnc GUI v0.2.0.5). I will try to fix this for the next release, for now you can use your own scripts as input files or use AutoQMatEnc GUI v0.2.0.5 (which uses v2.0 of the .NET Framework), personally I'd recommend using AutoQMatEnc GUI v0.2.0.5 as I spend more time developing that version due to it's popularity (more than 50 downloads compared to about 29 with this version).

Hope this helps, stay tuned for an update soon... Wink
