For beta testers : AQE 0.33.0.5 available

• Tweaked  the high bitrate control
• Tweaked the rate control for the embedded Pulldown application
• Improved quality at high bitrates.(Macroblock at scene changes bug)
• Worked on the Rate Control without QMatOp, a new function was implemented in order to work as if QMatOp is on.
• Corrections of minor bugs.

This release is not the one I wanted to release (I started implementing the audio encode), but some people are waiting for some included corrections and I dont have so much time to spend on the audio encoding......So I chose to release this one. But expect .6 soon, once I have implemented the audio encoding.

I will also need some tests on the high bitrates, I tweaked it in order to improve the quality, but I wonder if some spike could'nt reappear.

@Danpos: I worked on your "Lost" episode. It should be OK now. (I didn't retest it since some changes I made) but it should be OK.

FYI : I didn't update the Vmesquita mirror yet. I will do it later.

@dirio49: I'm rather surprised...everything seems to be normal (from a log point of view). Did you try to encode it with any other encoder?!
[EDIT] : Could you give more info about the movie we are talking about?! Name? Filters? What kind of Encode in DVDRB (full,movie only,...), Did you try 2 passes instead of 4 ?!

no filters,full mode,(blacked out all the extras) Just removed the audio.
i tried other encoders and all ok.

the movie is the same as before, called The Prirates of the carabian( sorry i cannot spell it ). the first one.

Could you try 2 passes?!

tried two passes still the same thing.(the first,frame is just horrible, the one after the scene change(very blocky), it clears up at the second frame almost completely,but still can see the small boxes(less obvious),after that, all is ok.

I got that to with about the same bitrate just use the deblock.dll and set it as deblock() it should take care of it http://avisynth.org.ru/fizick.html and if the setting needs to be stronger to take care of your problem the dll comes with instructions

I think the cpu=4 option in the mpeg2source() would do a much faster processing with same results, IMO.
