************** JIT Debugging **************
To enable just-in-time (JIT) debugging, the .config file for this
application or computer (machine.config) must have the
jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section.
The application must also be compiled with debugging
enabled.
For example:
<configuration>
<system.windows.forms jitDebugging="true" />
</configuration>
When JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exception
will be sent to the JIT debugger registered on the computer
rather than be handled by this dialog box.
Also some new feature Req:
- Ability to change the GOP manually
- Ability to change the Audio settings manually
- Ability to change the AVS script for adding other filters
- Ability to fill up space for eg. if I say I need to fill up 2 GB of Space only for this video, quality not being the constraint.
- Please include Spline resizers also.

This was a bug and has been fixed, thanks for the feedback

Ability to change the GOP manually
This has been added, GOP and GOP N/M adjustments follow CCE restrictions
Quote from: techreactor on 07 de September de 2006, 05:46
Ability to change the Audio settings manually
Actually that tab is just a placeholder for when SAPSTAR adds audio encoding to AutoQMatEnc, if he doesn't I'll try to impliment audio encoding of some sort to AutoQMatEnc GUI
.

Ability to change the AVS script for adding other filters
I've added support for DIKO style scripts and/or script templates. You can create, edit and save them. Additional plugins now ship with AutoQMatEnc GUI setup (including SSE3 versions). The following scripts are supplied.
-
By NathanX
- Anime Script v1.0
- Anime Script v1.1
- General Purpose Script v1.1 Fast (Not for upsizing)
- General Purpose Script v1.1 Fast
- General Purpose Script v1.1 Good
-
DIKO Original
- High Quality
- Kwag's Optimal (DivX)
- Medium Quality
- Satellite Capture
Have a look at the new AviSynth tab and let me know what you think
.

Please include Spline resizers also.
Both have been added

Will be added to the next release, I had already compiled the new version before you edited your post
.
I will upload v0.2.0.8 to my site later. I'm in an airport atm and the wireless connection won't let me access my site

Updated to v.0.2.0.8
. Have a look in the plugins and scripts folders
.
Note: The installer looks for the following registry key when detecting if v2.0 of the .NET Framework is installed -
HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\NET Framework Setup\NDP\v2.0.50727

@ medion1965
Everything looks fine in the error log, so I'm not sure what the problem is
. Have you tried running the command line info...
Code:
"C:\Program Files\AutoQMatEnc\AutoQMatEnc.exe" -ecl "C:\Program Files\AutoQMatEnc GUI\Batch List\veronica_mars.2x12.rashard_and_wallace_go_to_white_castle.ws_dvdrip_xvid-fov.ecl"
Start->Run and paste that info to see if AQE completes ok?
AutoQMatEnc GUI looks for "Total Time" to be reported by AQE to decide if AQE has finished the encode - if this is not reported before the encode finishes AutoQMatEnc GUI will inform you about an error - perhaps this info is not always in AQE's output? In my tests it has been, maybe SAPSTAR can clarify...
@ techreactor
I was working away from home and generally code while I'm stuck in a hotel in the middle of nowhere
.
Could you provide more info on what it is you require ref. Targetted size feature. There used to be a bitrate calculator intergrated into AutoQMatEnc GUI that would allow you to select destination format/size and audio bitrate then calculate the desired bitrate and allow you to set that for your encode - perhaps I could impliment it again - unless you have a better idea?
@ All - thankx for the support peeps

I had a different set in mind :
- Provide for the targetted size that a user wants for eg 2 GB output video
- For avi files sources , break up the avi file based in the total frames into equal numner of parts and then encode each part separately to reach the desired size.
- For Dvd sources, its already broken up by segments so you know how much size to get from each segment to reach the target size.
- do a pre-processing based on the targetteed size to give an average BR used for the encode and then start encoding.
- Once you implement audio, you would also need to cater to the audio file size and mux overhead.
